While working at the Ouest Architecture Office, I was given the task of rethinking and repairing the defects in a terrazzo cladding of an old printing building. The building was given and renovated for the Zinneke socio-cultural organisation. The project is also a collaboration between the Zinneke team and a re-use specialist Rotor. The architectural interventions are delicate and essential; the spaces come to life by adding the necessary spatial elements, renovating and opening up the old ones. In repairing the terazzo cladding, I wanted to highlight the unity and contrast between the old and the new structures by breaking and continuing the mosaic line
